Why We Need Telangana..in telugu
- పెద్దమనుషుల ఒప్పందాన్ని ఏనాడూ ఆంధ్రులు అమలు చేయలేదు. ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి పదవి ఇవ్వటంలేదు.
- కృష్ణా గోదావరి నదుల పరివాహక ప్రాంతం 80 శాతం మాదైతే 88 శాతం నీళ్ళు వాళ్ళవి. కరెంటు70 శాతం ఉత్పత్తి మాది. 80 శాతం పంట ఋణాలు వాళ్ళవి. మూడొంతుల ఉద్యోగాలు వాళ్ళవి.
- శాంతియుతంగా అన్నదమ్ముల్లా విడిపోదాం.
- తెలంగాణ వద్ద ఉన్న వనరులతో ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతం ఇప్పటికే చాలా ప్రయోజనం పొందింది.
- ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణం.. స్వాభిమానానికి ప్రతీక. ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణాపై యాభై ఏళ్లుగా ఉద్యమాలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఇది ప్రజల ఆకాంక్షల నుంచి పుట్టింది.
- రాజ్యాంగం ప్రకారం చూసినా రాష్ట్రాల ఏర్పాటు అనేది కేంద్ర పరిధిలోని అంశం. అసెంబ్లీలో తీర్మానం అవసరం లేదు. అది లేకుండానూ కేంద్రం ఆమోదించవచ్చు.
- తమిళనాడుకే తెలుగుగంగ నీళ్లు ఇస్తున్నప్పుడు తెలంగాణా నుంచి ఆంధ్రకు నీళ్లు అందకుండా చేస్తారని అనుకోవడం సరికాదు.
- భౌగోళిక, చారిత్రక కోణాల్లో ఎలా చూసినా హైదరాబాద్‌ తెలంగాణాలో అంతర్భాగమే.
- విలీనం నాటికి తెలంగాణాయే పారిశ్రామికంగా ముందుండేది. గత యాభై ఏళ్లుగా తెలంగాణా చాలా త్యాగాలు చేసింది. ఆంధ్ర అభివృద్ధిలో ఎక్కువ భాగాన్ని ఆంధ్రలోని సంపన్నులు తీసుకున్నారు. తెలంగాణ వివక్షకు గురైంది. సింగరేణిలో, సచివాలయంలో అన్నిచోట్లా కోస్తావారే ముఖ్యమైన ఉద్యోగాల్లో ఉన్నారు. ఇది ఆర్థిక అసమానతలకు దారి తీసింది.

Why do we need separate Telangana State
Whenever the topic of Telangana is raised, many of us blindly support Andhra or Telangana based on where we come from. Not sure how many really think of why the demand for separate state has been there for such a long time. The 2 major reasons why the demand has been pending for so many years is WATER AND HYDERBAD. People around the state have earned and invested in and around Hyderabad so there is a concerns about the safety of the investment if the state is separated while both the major rivers in our state flow mostly through Telangana. Below are some facts that are few reasons for the demand. Sentiments can be foolish but not facts.
a. There are 10 districts in Telangana, 9 in Andhra and 4 in Rayalaseema. Out of these 7 districts in Telangana, 3 in Andhra and 1 in Rayalaseema are considered severely backward districts which means 70% of districts in Telangana are backward while in Andhra it is 35% and in Rayalaseema it is 25%. Apart from these there are some areas in all parts of the state which are also backward.
b. 45% of the state income comes from Telangana region. When it comes to utilization of funds, the share of Telangana is only 28%.
c. Normally canals are dug to supply water to the crops from rivers for cultivation. The amount of land cultivated through canals in just Guntur district is more than the land cultivated with canals in entire Telangana region.
d. Nagarjuna sagar dam is built in Nalgonda district which is in Telangana but majority of the water from the dam is used for Krishna and Guntur district. The original dam was supposed to be build much ahead of its present location but the location was changed so that it falls in the Telangana region. Due to the construction of the dam several hectares of Lime stone mines vanished as part of the dam back waters. Everyone know that lime stone is used for producing cement. Even the natural resources were not allowed to remain.
e. Fluorinated water problem is only in Nalgonda district which has not been resolved since decades.
f. Two major rivers Krishna and Tungabhadra enter the state of AP in the district of Mahaboobnagar(the biggest district in Telangana) but the district always remains the worst draught hit areas along with Anantapur because there is no project and process with which the water can be utilized. The plans for utilization has been pending for decades.
g. RDS (Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme) is build in Mahaboobnagar to provide water to 85000 hectares of land in the district. The leaders of Rayalaseema blasted the gates of RDS and water is supplied to KC (Kurnool-Cudapah) canal while only remaining water, if any, is supplied to the lands in Mahaboobnagar.
h. 3 TMC of water from Gandipet is sufficient to supply drinking water to our city. Every year 1700 TMC of water is wasted and is flown into Bay of Bengal from river Godavari. Starting from Nizambad to Bay of Bengal there is no project allowed to build on Godavari. If it is built leaders in Godavari districts fear that the fertile lands in the area may fall short of water. If the Godavari water is utilized properly, there will be no scarcity for food grains in our state.
i. In Telangana regions, only few areas cultivate one crop a year and very rarely two crops a year while most of the land doesn’t even cultivate single crop. In both the Godavari districts, Krishna and Guntur district, two crops a year is common and there are times where even 3 crops a year are cultivated. The only reason is WATER.
j. Government issue G.O.’s for implicating its decisions. G.O number 610 is the longest non implicated G.O in the history of AP. The G.O was issued in 1986 by late NTR who was then the CM of AP, which is not yet implicated. The G.O speaks about the share of Telangana employees in Government jobs in Telangana region.
k. 33% of the population in Mahaboobnagar district have left the district for livelihood to different parts of the state due to draught and majority of them are working as daily labour. No other district has so many people who fled the home place due to lack of livelihood and working as daily labour.
l. There are 25 plus government degree colleges in Krishna, Kadapa and Guntur district while there is not even a single government degree college in Ranga Reddy district.
m. Dairy development corporation of AP purchases milk from farmers across the state for distribution. For the same milk, in Andhra, the government pay Rs. 24 to the farmers and in Telangana they pay Rs. 22 per litre. Partiality is shown even in milk
n. In between 2005-2008 government sold lands worth Rs. 20000 crores in and around Hyderabad which was utilized to build projects in Rayalaseema and Andhra.
o. Not even a single project was completed in Telangana in the last 5 years while several projects were completed in Andhra and Rayalaseema.

| With the on-going Polavaram project there is a risk of drowning 220 villages in Khammam Dist.more than 3 lakh girijans will be dislocated homeless, beside this govt is planning to take water to Andhra region through canals for lakhs of acres of land. If this project is completed then Bhadrachalam will be totally drowned and the worst is Telangana will not get a drop of water from it. So till when this exploitation works for them……….? | ||||

12 facts...why we need TELANGANA
1) All the state govt offices in Hyderabad filled with 90% of non-Telangana employees, inspite of the fact that Hyderabad being in Telangana. These guys don’t make any project proposals for Telangana, don’t support development projects there and don’t release funds.
2) Two major rivers pass through Telangana, no major irrigation project in Telangana. Total irrigated area in entire 10 districts of Telangana in less than what is there in Guntur dist.
3) Coastal CMs ruled for 24 years, Rayalaseema CMs for 23 years, Telangana CM for 6 years. In this 6 years 3 CMs were used as temporary CMs while changing other region CMs. This makes BIGGER difference as you can see from Telangana discrimination in last 50 years
4) While merging Andhra with Telangana in 1956, Telangana people consent was not taken. It was Central Govt which took the decision. Now the same govt is creating Telangana.
5) Hyderabad was 5th largest city then, now also. Without spending a PAISA for Hyderabad, Andhra merged with Telangana state.
6) Migrated Non-Telangana people compare with few lazy people locally and say Telanganites are lazy. I can show equal number in their area. Usually hardworking people migrate. Even in Movies they make derogatory remarks about Telangana people and culture. They need to respect people.
7) Telangana generates 55% revenue/tax for AP and gets in return lessthan 10% spending.
Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana for last 400 years. Surrounded on all sides by Telangana. It is built using the resources of Telangana water, land, electricity. Who built Assembly? High Court? Hussain Sagar? Osmania Hospital/Univ. Begumpet Airport? All this before 1956.
9) Some Businesses built by Non-Telangana people in Hyderabad are for their own profit, not for developing Telangana. Nothing would happen to these businesses if Telangana is created.
10) Few Non-Telangana politicians for their Real estate business interests, XYZ hills being built on illegal lands and other personal gains, opposing Telangana state.
11) Lots of Telugus live in Bangalore, do business there, and invested much more money in Bangalore than in Hyderabad, is it justified to ask for Bangalore in AP?
12) Naxalism is just a reason for the other area leaders to oppose Telangana. Telangana will have more benefits even with Naxalism if separate state is created, we would have more funds, projects, jobs and respect for Talangana people.

TELANGANA HISTORY
Hundreds of Years Hyderabad state ruled by Nizam. Hyderabad State with Total 16 Districts (8Telangana District, 5 Maratwaada District, 3 Karnataka Districts) having 3 different languages talking people. Languages different and Traditions different but all the people were live together friendly in hyderabad.
Present Telangana part of Andhra Pradesh was ruled by Nizam from 1724 to 1948 i.e., 224 Years. For the freedom from Nizam, So many people was died to get Freedom.
వందల సంవత్సరాల నైజాం పాలనలో హైదరాబాదు రాష్ట్రం 16 జిల్లాలు (8 తెలంగాణ జిల్లాలు, 5మరాట్వాడా జిల్లాలు, 3 కర్నాటక జిల్లాలు) కలిగి మూడు భాషల ప్రజలతో ఉండేది. వారి భాషలు ఆచార వ్యవహారాలు వేరైనా - ఇచ్చి పుచ్చుకునే ధోరణితో ప్రజలు సహజీవనం సాగిస్తూవచ్చారు.
ప్రస్త్రుతం ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో భాగంగా ఉన్న తెలంగాణ 1724 నుండి 1948 వరకు 224 సంవత్సరాలు నిజాం పాలనలో ఉండేది. నిజం నుండి విముక్తి కలిగించడానికి ఇక్కడి ప్రజలు భాషతో నిమిత్తం లేకుండా ఎన్నెన్నో కష్టాలు పడాల్సి వచ్చింది. లెక్కలేనంత మంది పోరాడి ప్రాణాలను అర్పించారు.
Present Telangana part of Andhra Pradesh was ruled by Nizam from 1724 to 1948 i.e., 224 Years. For the freedom from Nizam, So many people was died to get Freedom.

Conditions of Telangana at the time of Freedom
August 15, 1947 all India people were celebrating the Freedom of India. Andra People place in Madras State also got freedom and they were enjoying the celebration. But Telangana People were gone in to deep depretion feeling that they were not got the freedom. Andhra People not even think about the Telangana People.
After Freedom of India, Nizam ruling going very hard. Khasim Razwi razakars will harrasing the people, murdering, raping innocent women and robbing. Some people of Telangana migrated to Andhra. But their they have not get anything, even though they were robbed by the Andhra People also. But who migrated to other than andha place they were really got warm welcome and their people cooperation.
అగస్టు 15, 1947న దేశ ప్రజలంతా స్వాతంత్ర్య వేడుకల్లో మునిగిపోయారు. ఆంధ్రులు భాగంగా ఉన్న మద్రాసు రాష్ట్రానికి కూడా ఆంగ్లేయుల నుండి విముక్తి కలిగినందున వారు కూడా ఘనంగా ఉత్సవాలు జరుపుకున్నారు. కాని నిజాం నిరంకుశత్వం నుండి విముక్తి లభించనందున తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు మాత్రం నిరాశా నిస్పృహల్లో మునిగిపోయారు. స్వాతంత్ర్య సంబరాల్లో మునిగిపోయిన ఆంధ్రులు తెలంగాణ ప్రజల స్వేఛ్ఛా స్వాతంత్ర్యాల గురించి ఆలోచించలేదు.
దేశానికి స్వాతంత్ర్యం వచ్చాకే నిజాం నిరంకుశత్వం మరింత పెరిగిపోయింది. తెలంగాణ ప్రజల స్వాతంత్ర్య పోరాటాన్ని ఉక్కు పాదంతో అణిచివేయాలని నిర్ణయించడంతో ప్రజల కష్టాలు తారా స్థాయికి చేరుకున్నాయి. దానికి తోడు ఖాసి రజ్వీ నాయకత్వంలోని రజాకారులు దోపిడీలకు, హత్యాకాండలకు, అత్యాచారాలకు పాల్పడడంతో ప్రజలు దిక్కులేని పక్షులలాగా వలసవెళ్ళాల్సి వచ్చింది. ఆంధ్రా ప్రాంతాలకు వలసపోయిన తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు కనీస మర్యాద దక్కకపోగా వారిని అందినకాడికి దోచుకోవడంలో ఆంధ్రులు తమ చేతివాటాన్ని ప్రదర్శించారు. నాగపూర్ లాంటి తెలుగేతర ప్రాంతాలకు వెళ్ళిన తెలంగాణ ప్రజలకు మాత్రం అపూర్వమైన ఆదరణ లభించింది.
